    - Minimum stimulus intensity required to detect a stimulus 50% of the Time
  2. difference thresholds (Just Noticable Difference)
    - smallest detectable Difference between two stimuli
    - weber‘s law: for two Stimuli to be perceived as different, they must differ by a constant proportion
