Q

`What are the Glycoproteins?

A

LH, FSH, TSH
They all contain 2 alpha chains and 2 beta chains.
ALL 3 contain identical alpha chains of 92 amino acids and their attached polysaccharide.

The alpha region is the effector region that induces receptor activation of adenylate cyclase, and the beta chain gives it its receptor binding specificity.
