-adult cell is removed
-an unfertilised egg cell is removed fro the egg done animal
-cell is enucleated
-enucleated egg cell and nucleus from adult cell combine and fused together by electricity
-zygote divides by mitosis
-embryo is implanted into uterus of surrogate animal
-offspring is genetically identical to parent
