Partial vs. Generalized Seizure

A

simple partial (also known as focal or localization related) does not involve an alteration in consciousness, whereas a complex seizure does. A partialized seizure is a regional phenomenon, only involving an isolated part of the brain, whereas a generalized seizure involves the entire brain.
