Describe Pre war North
A
The North grew edible products such as wheat and corn. They were also against slavery. Northerners believed in a strong central government.

A
Pre-war South had many plantations where they grew products such as tobacco and cotton. They grew these with the help of slaves meaning they were of course pro-slavery. Southerners believed in the power of their state.
