What are the difference between ethics and regulations?
Ethics - Morals that individuals and organizations abide by
Regulations - Requirements set by governing bodies and can result in penalties, fines or charges
What are Asimov’s 3 laws of robotics?
1) A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm
2) A robot must obey orders given by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the first law
3) A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the first or second law

What is the difference of privacy and security?
Privacy - The right to control how your personal information is collected, used, and exchanged
Security - Focuses on protecting data from unauthorized use and the exploitation of stolen data for profit
What is the CIA Triad?
Confidentiality - Rules that limits access to data/information
Integrity - Maintained when the data/info is both trustworthy and accurate
Availability - Provide reliable access to data/info for authorized individuals
How does the CIA triad work together?
Confidentiality of data is emphasized, the integrity of data is less likely to be compromised
How does Big Data and IoT pose a threat to security?
Big Data - due to the vast amount of data/info that needs to be stored and managed
IoT - Due to the number of connected hardware devices that are unpatched or configured w/ weak passwords
