What is the focus of cognitive therapy for PTSD?
A
- People who engage in cognitive therapy for PTSD change the way they think about their trauma. They work on stopping EXCESSIVE NEGATIVE appraisals of what has happened to them in a way that creates a sense of a serious, current threat.
