What are the Three Gears of Design for business?
First gear - deep user understanding, studying people to try to understand their needs and wants
Second gear - concept visualization, takes observations from the first phase and uses them as the basis for creating sketches and prototypes for new business ideas and innovations
Third gear - strategic business decision, all tings a company might have to do in order to realize and optimize the possibilities that emerge from the first two gears of the design process
