A system to create reliable evidence to support theories
Ptolemy
A Greek philosopher who came up with the geocentric theory, or the theory that god put earth at the center of the universe.
Nicolaus Copernicus
Sparked the revolution with his book, On the Revolution of the Celestial Spheres. His book contradicted the thoughts of the church and Ptolemy
Galileo Galilei
An Italian scientist who would eventually prove Copernicus’ theory.
Sir Isaac Newton
Published a book known as Principia Mathematica in 1687. His theories were proved so much that they became laws. He was most well known for his laws of motion.
