Explain the contributions of Anton van Leewenhoek

A

Anton van Leewenhoek observed things like gum scrapings and pond water with a microscope and noticed “little animals” that were eventually recognized as microorganisms. To give one example, modern medicine would be significantly ineffective consediering we wouldn’t know about germs.
