18
Q

What are Enzymes

A

19
Q

Enzymes are known as what

A

As biological catalysts (they speed up digestion without being used up)

20
Q

What are the three main types of enzymes in digestion

A

21
Q

What are drugs

A

Chemicals that effect the way your brain and body work.

There are two types of drugs medical and recreational

22
Q

What do you know about medical drugs

A

They are used to cure illnesses, some have side effects, examples: pain killers, antibiotics, cough mixture

Q

What is addiction

A

When your body becomes used to a chemical and you need to take the drug to feel normal, when they try to stop taking the drug their body reacts by feeling sick and have other symptons, these symptons are called withdrawal symptons

29
Q

What happens in the small and large intestine

A

Small intestine - digestive juices from the liver and pancreas are added and digestion is completed, the nutrients pass into the blood stream
