Love struck phase. May lose appetite, sleep, and spend all time daydreaming. Neuro transmitters called monoamines (dopamine, adrenaline, serotonin)

-attachment
Commitment. Released by nervous system. Oxytocin (theory of more sex=better relationship) and vasopressin (lack can lead to loss of commitment or sense of protectiveness)
