- Hallucinations, sonny heard voices in his head
- Marked social occupational impairment, could not hold a job or go to school.
How was Sonny treated for his schizophrenia?
- Reducing psychotic symptoms through MEDICATION
- Ensure he was consistently taking his medication
- Skills to better construct time to have him gradually return to his social occupational functions
- Teach methods to reduce self-criticism or social withdrawal
- Educate family on disorder so they can be more understanding, to prevent stress on sonny & for better long term outcome for sonny.
