What are the features of Paranoid Schizophrenia
A
Schizophrenia with prominent features of delusions and auditory hallucinations

What are the features of Disorganised schizophrenia?
A
Disorganized speech and behaviour, and flat or inappropriate affect

What are the features of Catatonic schizophrenia?
A
- Catalepsy
- XS motor activity
- extreme negativism/mutism
- stereotped movements, prominent mannerisms/grimacing
- echolalia/echopraxia

What s the DSM-IV-TR criteria for schizoaffective disorder?
A
- uninterrupted period with Criteria A symptoms of schizophrenia present and there is a major depressive/manic episode
- delusions and/or hallucinations present for at least 2 weeks in the absence of a major mood episode
- major mood episode is present for the majority
(>50%) - disturbance is not due to a substance or medical condition

What is the DSM criteria for schizophrenia?
A
- 2 or more of:
- delusions
- hallucinations
- disorganised speech
- grossly abnormal psychomotor behaviour , e.g. catatonia
- negative symptoms
- social dysfunction
- persists for at least 6 months
- exclusion of Schizoaffective and Mood Disorder exclusion
