What s the DSM-IV-TR criteria for schizoaffective disorder?

A
  1. uninterrupted period with Criteria A symptoms of schizophrenia present and there is a major depressive/manic episode
  2. delusions and/or hallucinations present for at least 2 weeks in the absence of a major mood episode
  3. major mood episode is present for the majority
    (>50%)
  4. disturbance is not due to a substance or medical condition

What is the DSM criteria for schizophrenia?

A
  1. 2 or more of:
  • delusions
  • hallucinations
  • disorganised speech
  • grossly abnormal psychomotor behaviour , e.g. catatonia
  • negative symptoms
  1. social dysfunction
  2. persists for at least 6 months
  3. exclusion of Schizoaffective and Mood Disorder exclusion
