SCC Presentation

A
  • Indurated, nodular, keratinising tumour that may ulcerate
  • May present as an ulcer without keratinisation
  • Clinical appearance variable
  • Small nodule enlarges and centre becomes necrotic and sloughs
  • Slow growing ulcer or reddish skin plaque
  • Bleeding may occur
