What are the common examination findings?
Commonly on head and face of elderly particularly on lips
Lesion:
Papular
irregular edges
crusty
Bleeding

What can become SCC?
Acitinic keratosis

What are the investigations?
To finish the exam i would like to - take a history and expose the body to look for any more
Excision Biopsy - to see what it is and to assess malignancy. They can metastasise
What are the key investigation findings?
Is it malignant?
What is the treatment?
Conservative - Explain what it is
Medical - If pre malignant can use cryotherapy, cautery or immune modulator creams
Surgical - Excision
What are some risk factors
Genetics
Fair skin
Sun exposure
Immunosupression
HPV
Smoking for mucosal
