using arrows, length of arrow represents magnitude of vector quantity, direction of arrow gives direction of the vector

a quantity that has only magnitude only
what is displacement ?
distance in a given direction. displacement from one point to another point
what is velocity?
speed in a given direction

split into vertical and horizontal component using sin and cos
what is the resultant force?
its the overall force acting on an object
