Law enforcement, Commanders, Healthcare Personnel, SARC, SPAR VA
Restricted Reporting
Speak confidentially with no requirement to report at all; does not trigger an investigation
Unrestricted Reporting
Triggers an external official investigation; survivor’s command and offender’s command are notified of the report

SARC is responsible for
Overall management of cases and communication directly with Chain of Command
SAPR VA is responsible for
Non-clinical crisis intervention and navigating the process required to obtain services
SAPR Mission
Prevent and respond to sexual assault through focused education, comprehensive response, compassionate advocacy, and just adjudication in order to promote professionalism, respect, and trust while preserving Navy mission readiness.
