Complete Toddler's Plastic deformity Greenstick Buckle
What is a complete fracture?
Both sides of cortex are breached
What is a toddlers fracture?
Oblique tibial fracture in infants
What is a plastic deformity?
Stress on bone resulting in deformity without cortical disruption
What is a greenstick fracture?
Unilateral cortical breach only
What is a buckle fracture?
Incomplete cortical disruption leading to periosteal haematoma
What system is used to classify growth plate fractures?
Salter-Harris system
What is a salter-harris type 1 fracture?

Above growth plate
What is a salter-harris type 3 fracture?
Fracture through physis and epiphysis to include joint
Below growth plate
What is a salter-harris type 4 fracture?
