A

It gives you the power to enter a licensed premise “at any reasonable”, to enter and inspect, to ascertain if the licensee is complying with this Act and their license

AND “at any time” enter and inspect when you have RGTB that any offence against this act is being committed on those premises.

Refusal/failure to admit any constable who demand entry commits an offence - may arrest for obstruction

A

The minor must be drinking or have possession with intent to consume the alcohol in a PP

A

This offence applies to any age.
You can seize the alcohol and its container.
If a person commits this offence and refuses to give name and address, they may be arrested.

What are the procedures for Section 36 of the Policing Act 2008?

A

Upon finding an intoxicated person in a PP or trespassing private property, Section 36 of the Policing Act 2008 allows you to take the person to their home address unless impracticable, then to a temporary shelter if not reasonably practicable, to the police station. If unresponsive then take them to the hospital.

A

12 hours to sober up - CYP directed to the Youth Aid Office
