Prohibitions in flight
P- Portable electronic devices are not allowed unless authorized
R- Refrain from drinking carbonated drinks
O- On take-off & landing, emergency exits must be cleared of any loose items
H- Heavy items in stowage bins are prohibited. Ensure bins are properly locked and secured
I- Infants, children, pregnant and PWD must not be seated by emergency exits
B- Bulky items near or on top of emergency equipment is strictly prohibited
I- In the flight deck, Chinaware and glassware must never be used
T- Tampering of doors, exit windows and smoke detectors are prohibited
I- Ice dry must not be placed on top of bottles and inside ovens. Never throw dry ice on water
O-On night flights ensure cabin and galley are manned, check FD every 20 mins
N- No blue flame or cigar lighters on one’s person, carry on or checked baggage
S- Scuba diving is not permitted within 24 hours before and after the flight

Refueling with passengers on board
F- Focus on readiness for an expeditious evacuation situation
U-update passengers with refueling activities
E- Emergency exits must be free from obstruction
L- Links among flight crew must be maintained through effective CRM
During Turbulence
- FP delivers announcement.
- discontinue food service
- secure all loose equipment
- secure all galleys and service items - Check pax compliance while proceeding to stations
- Check that infants placed in seats or bassinets are held in adult’s arms
- Occupy take off and landing stations, fasten seatbelts
