You are a captain assigned to a structure Protection Group on a watershed fire, it is October 25th during the second day of a Santa Ana wind event, it is 1130hrs, and three other personnel are assigned to your engine.
You arrive at your location directly from home quarters and then meet the Structure Protection Group Supervisor, who gives you and the other captains a complete briefing as part of making you ready for your assignment. …you give a safety briefing to your crew about the fire and their assignment.

Any other incidents in the area

Fire weather (previous, current, & expected)

Fire behavior (previous, current, & expected)
Time of day, alignment of slope and wind, etc…
