What does the plank switch do
-tells the controller the safeties have been deployed
-tied into the safety circuit

Dimensions of the toe guard
48 inches long, same width as the cab door, with a 60° bend at the bottom
Purpose of the toe guard
If the cab is above a landing with the hatch door open, it helps prevent objects or people falling into the shaft
What do the dust covers do
Covers tracks and other components in the hatchway from dust, dirt and debris
Purpose of the fascia
-prevents debris from falling behind components in the hatch
-zone lock cam for swing door is mounted to it
-between every hatch door
What is top of car clearance
-Distance between top of car and overhead when counterweight is landed
- 4’ - 6’ of clearance
What is run-by clearance
-Distance between bottom of car and buffers at lowest landing
-must be 6 - 35” (want to max out at 35”)
