Make it safe and comfortable for risks. Be welcoming, and demonstrate sincere interest in students, families, colleagues, listen carefully, and have a sense of humor. Encourage collaboration. Firmly believe that all students can grow.

Yes! The more comfortable they are they excel more and faster. Set clear expectations, procedures, and routines.

Should teachers collaborate with reading specialist?

Yes! Collaborate and when the student returns, help reengage them with routines, class helpers, or conversation.

Describe an effective physical learning environment.

Answer 4

Resources available, achor charts, comfortable colors, lighting, writing exemplars displayed, things written in home languages, no hindrances( make everything accessible even for exceptional needs).

What should teachers provide multiple opportunities for?

Students to learn from each other, coach students to give and receive constructive feedback, lessons for whole group, small group, paired, and individual.

How should a classroom library be set up?

Have all reading levels and interests. Have it available for kids to browse daily.
