A

Difficulty seeing in bright light (low sun, night driving, fluorescent lighting).
Corneal or lens problem: often cataract.

A

A

Fatty yellow deposits at back of eye caused by reduced function of the retinal pigment epithelium.

Treatment?

A

Drusen. RPE pigmentation and atrophy.

Stop smoking, diet changes, wear dark glasses.

What is wet ARMD?

Treatment?

A

Fluid between photoreceptors and epithelium, leading to choroidal neovascular membrane. Rapid vision loss.
VEGF stimulates CNM growth, so antiVEGF may reverse visual loss.

A

Carotid artery disease/valve disease.
