A
incr elastase activity, loss of elastic fibers, increased compliance, panacinar emphysema.
accumulation of AAT in hepatocytes -> cirrhosis -> incr AST, ALT and decr clotting factors -> elevated PT/INR and PTT

squamous cell carcinoma -> central bronchogenic carcinoma
secreting PTHrP
decreased phos, hyperCa2+ -> constipation and polyuria (freq. urination)
