What are the prerequisites for entering RVSM?
A
- Verify “RVSM CERTIFIED”
- review mx log / MEL’s - Walk-around: check yellow ^ RVSM marked areas on nose section. Verify air flow around static ports not inhibited. Free of contaminants.
- Ensure both altimeters with 75ft of each other and 75ft of field elevation on the ground
- Both altimeters operable in flight.
- Autopilot (AFCS) operational

A
Notify ATC immediately and exit

Notify ATC and exit

What do you do if your altimeters differ by 150ft?
