The Silk Road was the ultimate trade route that provided China’s most treasured products to Rome. This trade route helped the economy of both places tremendously.
How were the effects of the fail of Roman Empire different from the fall of Han China?
The fall of Han China was because of factional intrigues within the ruling clan, official corruption and inefficiency, uprisings of desperate and hungry peasants, the spread of banditry, attacks by nomadic groups on the northwest frontier, and the ambitions of rural warlords. The Roman Empire failed because of disease, lifestyle, class, warfare, corruption of government, and money.

Rome- the development of Christianity led women and servants to believe that there was an after life for them and not just men.
Byzantine Empire- It led them to have churches, controlled the appointment of the newly Christian patriarch of Constantinople, and involved himself in doctrinal disputed

Compare the political system of Rome, the Byzantine Empire, early Russia, and Han China.
Rome was a Republic (was not a democracy) and then was transformed into a Empire during Augustus ‘ rain. The Byzantine Empire was very religious and was very reliant on the churches. Han China was the dynasty that occurred after the Qin, and this dynasty began the long history of imperial China. Russia was converted to Orthodoxy and that tied together the economics, politics, and religious life.
