Avoiding the Risk of Collision:
Any action to avoid collisions shall be positive, made in ample time, and good seamanship
-Make a visual aspect change for other ship to know your changing direction
-5000 yd closest point of approach(keep safe distance)

-Slow, stop, or reverse course

Rule 9
Narrow Channels
-Right Side
Vessel <20 m
-Vessels Engaged in fishing will not impune traffic
-May not cross unless safe
-Avoid anchoring within channel
-Overtaking, use sound/signal
Rule 10
Traffic Separation
-Use of appropriate lane
-Keep clear of separation line and zone
-Inshore Line: Avoid unless <20 m, engaged in fishing, sailing, and entering/leaving port
Separation Zone- Fish, Immediate Danger, and no anchors
Termination Area- Avoid anchoring, where lanes end
If not using TSS, use large margin
