-When the length of the tow exceeds 200 m, a diamond day-shape
An inconspicuous, partly submerged vessel or object being towed
- <25m in breadth: one all-round white light at or near the forward end and one at or near the aft end
- > 25m in breadth: two additional all-round white lights at or near the extremities of its breadth
- > 100m in length: additional all-round white lights so the distance between them does not exceed 100 m
-A diamond day shape at or near the aft-most extremity
- > 200 m: an additional diamond day shape near the forward end
Sailing Vessel Underway(Rule 25)
-Sidelights
-Sternlights
- If < 20 m in length: sidelights and stern lights may be combined at the top of the mast
-Two all-round red and green lights
-Red over a green sailing machine
Use of machinery will have conical day shape with apex down.
Fishing Vessels(Trawling): Rule 26
-Vessel engaged in fishing underway or at anchor:
Trawling- Green over white, trawling at night
> 50 m: masthead light abaft and higher than green light
-Day Shape: Two cones with apexes together
-When making way: sidelights and stern lights
