The relationship between police and news organizations is based upon what?
Complementary rather than conflicting interests
As it relates to the need of media regarding information and photographs, the department has 3 responsibilities
1) Bring police operation to successful conclusion

1) Names of victims and details in sexual assaults

Commissioner after consultation with Legal Advisor
Photographing Prisoners
Can photograph persons in custody - Officers cannot pose nor can they be photographed inside police buildings
