Clinical presentation of ABRS (3 things)
- Similar to acute RS, but lasts >10 days
- Onset with severe symptoms, >102F and purulent nasal discharge or facial pain for at least a few days at beginning of illness
- Onset with worsening symptoms,mcharacterized by new-onset fever, HA, or increased nasal discharge following typical viral URI that lasted 5-6 days and were initially improving.

Oseltamivir 75mg BID x 5 days
Zanamivir 2 inhalations (10mg) BID x 5 days
When should flu tx be started?
Within 48 hours of symptom onset
