What is the definition of an RTC?
Owing to the presence of a mechanically propelled vehicle (MPV) on a road other public place, an accident occurs whereby;
Personal injury is caused to another person (other than the driver of the MPV)
OR
Damage is caused to:
A vehicle (other than the MPV or any trailer drawn by it)
An animal (other than one in or on that MPV or any trailer drawn by it)
Any other property, constructed on, fixed to, growing in or otherwise forming part of the land on which the road or other place in question is situated or land adjacent to such land.

What is difference between reportable and non reportable?
If damage or injury involves just the driver or owner of the vehicle then there is no duty to report.
Otherwise must be reported
Driver is not defined in the Road Traffic Act 1988, how is it described?
In charge of propulsion of vehicle.
Depending on how much degree and extent a person has control of the direction and movement of the vehicle.
What is Section 170 Road Traffic Act 1988?
Driver must stop and provide details to any person having reasonable grounds to require them.
Provide drivers name and address
Owners name and address

Insurance details too if PERSONAL INJURY RTC
