What is disqualified driving?
A
A person is guilty of an offence if, while disqualified from holding or obtaining a license, he -
Obtains a license or
Drives a motor vehicle on a road

What are some examples of obligatory disqualification?
A
Manslaughter Aggravated Vehicle Taking Dangerous Driving Causing death by dangerous driving Over the limit of alcohol or not giving a specimen for analysis Whilst unfit through drink and drugs
Also racing or speeding on public road

What police power do officers have to arrest someone suspected of driving while disqualified?
A
A Constable may arrest without a warrant any person having driven a motor vehicle on a road whom he/she has reasonable cause to suspect of being disqualified.
