How does pluralism challenge Jesus’ authority in John 14:6?
“I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me”
How does pluralism challenge God and Jesus’ authority?
It challenges the idea that Jesus is God’s one saviour and Christ and that believing in his resurrection is the only way to have a relationship with God and get to heaven.
What does John Hick say about pluralism?
“Faithful followers of all religions will be saved and go to heaven. All religious experience comes from God, different cultures follow it in different ways”
How does Pluralism challenge John 3:18?
“He who believes in Him is not judged, he who does not believe is judged already”
What is John 3:18 incompatible with?
The idea you can believe in someone other than Jesus (as God’s son) and be saved
