He will judge the living and the dead
How did he use his authority to redeem mankind?
Through Jesus crucifixion.
How did God use his authority to delegate authority?
He delegated it to prophets (major such as Elijah, minor such as Amos) to pass on his Word correctly to people through divine communication.
