Children with autism needs routine as it helps them through day
They need to know when where and why as it needs to be explained
Children with autism can struggle with change as it can be a traumatic time for them
Sticking to routines and encouraging children with change helps transition
Rules of routines
Be patient if they don't want to do it Encourage as more likely to do it again Don't take over as they want to feel in charge and learn to be independent Provide correct resources Demonstrate Allow time and don't lose temper Good role model as you follow same rules
