What is it?
Fungal disease which purple of black spots develop on leaves, resulting in leaves, often turning yellow and later dropping early
Symptoms?
Normally, large, purplish or black patches appears on the upper leaf surface
Leaf tissues may turn yellow around the spots and the leaf often drops, even though other parts are as yet unaffected
At other times, the yellow colour does not appear, but infected leaves still drop. Although, sometimes, the spots remain relatively small and the leaf does not drop
Small, black, scabby lesions may also appear on young stems
How to prevent?
Try keep the leaf dry as possible, since the spores need wet surface in order to germinate
Avoid water as much as possible especially in early in the morning so it is able to dry before nightfall
Need to improve air circulation by spacing them out properly
