How did Romulus become king (First half)
Romulus and Remus’ grandfather ruled alba longa until his brother removed him from power, then killed his son and made numitors daughter pregnant a vestal virgin who had to be killed.

Numitor gave his grandsons people, and money to go build their own settlement
They both decided power and so they decided on augury to see who would rule
This augury and the lies they each told caused a war which ended in the death of Remus
Or Remus tried to cross Romulus wall and mocks him, then a soldier kills him
