What are tasks and duties of the admin assistant

A
  • Filing files and documents carefully to ensure that they are never lost and are kept secure. Good filing will allow them to keep their workstations organised
  • Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries
  • Word processing and updating database/spreadsheets to keep information relevant and up to date. they can also delete unnecessary. the information that may otherwise slow down the system
  • Greeting visitors and providing visitor badges to make sure the business follows security guidelines and to keep everyone safe
  • Showing visitors around and helping them (representing the organisation)
  • Reprographics to ensure any documents required for their department/ other departments are printed/copied on time.
