- Induction training: Giving a new employee a copy of the health and safety policy and also receive any training for health and safety issues so they can follow the guidelines from the very beginning.
- Notice Boards/Posters/leaflets: Display procedures in different areas to remind staff about fire drills, no smoking etc
- Staff meetings: A meeting is the quickest way to ensure that information or changes health and safety policies is passed on. if it is sent by email, employees may misread or not even read the email
- Demonstrations: Practical activities such as fire drills or first aid can be shown.
- Regular Staff Training: Staff should attend training on a frequent basis to remind them of current policies or changes, and to learn how to use new equipment safely
