How are igneous rocks formed
They are formed as a result of volcanic activity. Hot molten magma escapes from the mantle. It cools and solidifies quickly into rock on the earth surface or slowly deep inside the crust.
How are sedimentary rocks formed.
They are formed from the particles of rocks and dead plants and animals. They were deposited on sea and lakebeds as well as on land. Les of this material built up over time and were impressed and cemented creating solid rock.
How are metamorphic rocks formed.
They are formed from rocks that already exist.They for when igneous or sedimentary rocks I change into new hide it rocks by great heat or pressure or sometimes both.

we extract rock every day from the earths crust for building purposes.This is done through the process of quarring.Large machinery is used to cut rock out ,or sometimes dynamite is used to explode rock from the crust.Rocks that are used as building material include limestone,sandstone and marble
