North’s contributions

A

-dance audiences and declined in the early 1980s which led to North’s aim to generate a wider audience base
- strove to embed the ‘british’ identity of the company through triumvirate of British choreographers; Alston, Bruce, North.
-north was not trying to replicate the modern dance scene in America, so instead provided a ‘tamer’ version that would be well received by British audiences.
