What is the definition of Robbery and in which section is it stated?
S8 of the theft act states: a person is guilty of robbery if they steal, and immediately before or at the time of doing so, and in order to do so, he uses force on any person, or puts or seeks to put any person in fear of, then and there, being subjected to force.
What Cases establish there must be a completed theft for a robberty to occur?

What does Corcoran v Anderton illustrate?
where force is used to steal, the moment the theft is complete, there is a robbery
What does R v Dawson and James (and R v Clouden) illustrate?
the force applied can be small and that it is for the jury to decide.
