Section 163 RTA 88
Any person driving a mechanically propelled vehicle or riding a pedal cycle on a road must stop the vehicle or cycle on being required to do so by an officer in uniform.
163(3) makes it an offence.
Section 36 RTA 88
Provides that a traffic sign of the prescribed size, colour and type has been lawfully placed on or near a road, a person driving or propelling a vehicle who fails to comply with the indication given by the sign commits an offence.
Section 35 RTA 88
Where a PC or traffic warden is engaged in the regulation of traffic in a road, a person driving or propelling a vehicle must stop the vehicle or make it proceed in or keep to a particular line of traffic, when directed to do so by a PC or warden in the execution of their duty.
35(1) makes it offence if not complied.
Sec 103 RTA 88
Provides the offence for a person who whilst disqual from holding or obtaining a license who:
Obtains a license
Drives a motor vehicle on a road
Sec 170 RTA 88
If owing to the presence of a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road or other public place an accident occurs by which personal injury is caused to a person to a persons (other than the the driver of that mpv) or damage is caused to: A vehicle (other than that mpv or trailer drawn by it) An animal Any other property constructed on, fixed to, growing in or otherwise forming part of the land on which the road or other place in question is situated or land adjacent to land.
Sec 170(2) RTA 88
The driver of mechanically propelled vehicle must stop, and if required to do so by any person having reasonable grounds for so requiring.
A- give name and address
B- name address of vehicle owner if different.
C- id marks of vehicle
If there is injury insurance details must be swapped
Dangerous driving
Sec 2a RTA 1988
As the driving falls far below what would be expected of a confident and careful driver. It would be obvious to a careful driver that that driving would be dangerous.

Death by dangerous driving
A person caused the death of another by dangerous driving of mpv.
(B)
Without due care and attention causing death whilst driving without due care and attention.
Driving or being in charge, with alcohol over the prescribed limit
Sec 5 RTA 1988
A person is guilty of an offence if they drive attempt to drive or are in charge of:
A motor vehicle on a road or other public place after consuming so much alcohol that the portion of it in their breath blood or urine exceeds the prescribed limit.
Driving or being in charge, whilst under the influence of drink or drugs
Sec 4 RTA 88
A person who when driving or attempting to drive or in charge of a mpv on a road or other public place is unfit to drive through drink or drugs is guilty of an offence.

If any of the sub sections 2-5 applies, a constable may Require a person to cooperate with any one or more preliminary tests administered to the person by that constable or another constable;
(3) has been driving
(2) is driving or attempting to drive
(4) moving traffic offence
(5) is involved in an accident
Sec 161(1) highway act 1980
Permits any person without lawful excuse deposits anything on a highway leading to injury or endangerment to people using that.
Sec 161(2) highway act 1980
Person without lawful authority or excuse lights any fire on or over any highway or discharges firearms or fireworks within 50ft of centre of highway and as consequence users are interrupted injured or endangered.
Sec 161 (a) highway act 1980
Lighting fires within the vicinity of the highway.
