What is Space Based Augmentation System (SBAS)?
Used to enhance 3D accuracy of GNSS by relaying correction data to refine position. It measures and corrects satellite errors. This is required to fly an SBAS glideslope.
What are the necessary levels of NAV performance in enroute, terminal and approach modes
Enroute: 2nm
Terminal: 1nm (30nm from destination and departure points)
Approach: 0.3nm
What is Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS)?
WAAS is a form of SBAS where ground stations determine satellite error.
When does Vapp become active?
When you pass the approach label?
Can you remove a NO Link?
Yes. Provided you are satisfied with the aircraft proceeding to the next waypoint on the flight plan.
