Rna replication and ifdsjif odsa Flashcards
1
Q
What are the three types of RNA
A
mRNA, tRNA, and rRNA
2
Q
What does mRNA do
A
It is where the tRNA attaches to deliver its RNA. mRNA is short for messenger RNA because it delivers the codons to tell the rhibosome what protien to make
3
Q
What does tRNA
A
tRNA stands for Transport RNA, this means they carry the amino acids to the rhibosome to be converted into polypeptide chains.
4
Q
What does rRNA do
A
rRNA is just rhibosomes. the rhibosomes make the polypeptide chains. The rhibodome has three spots. the A sport, P spot, and E spot
