Quality of life
A person’s level of satisfaction with his or her life
Risk factor
Aspects of a person’s life that increase the likelihood he or she will develop a disease or infections or experience an injury

Choices a person makes that increase his or her chances of developing disease, disorders, or injuries

Risky driving actions typically taken by teenagers; including texting, talking on the phone, and driving with one or more passengers under 18 years of age.

Behavior related to sexual intercourse; considered a risk factor for teenagers

A fatty substance that resides in the blood and can block arteries if a healthy level is not maintained.

The record of a disease’s presence and impact within a family

The body’s mechanism for fighting diseases and infections

A disease caused by defective genes passed down from an ancestral line

Microscopic living things that may cause infections or other illnesses

The overall environmental weather pattern of a region
