Stop the blood pump. Place the blue clamp above the t line and open both saline lines. Squeeze the NS bag until line is watermelon colored. Clamp the arterial lines to the patient

How do you flush the venous line?

Answer 2

Place the blue clamp below the t line. Start the pump at 150. Wait for line to become watermelon colored then clamp the venous lines.
