Scalp ringworm:
• Scalp ringworm starts as a small pimple and develops into a dry bald skin patch
• May become crusty
Skin ringworm:
• Skin ringworm is red and itchy rash. As it expands, the centre clears to produce a ring

- Prevention is difficult. It is contagious even before the symptoms appear
